26.3 Grams 8 Real Troy Silver with 14k Gold and Emerald Pendant from the shipwreck of the Atocha in the year of 1622 during the reign of Phillip III. Grade 1 as graded by Mel Fisher. The weight of this coin puts it in the highest, grade 1 category. When originally minted the 8 Reale coin's target weight was 27 grams. At 26.3 grams (as marked by Mel Fisher-see photo) this coin is a marvelous specimen which shows far less wear than do other grade 1 pieces. The coin is accompanied by it's Certification of Authenticity, which has an embossed seal.
